Rule by Jay Crownover
I didn't like this story as much as I expected to like it. There were many parts of the story where I had to re read sentences because of the typos and in all honesty the book wasn't that great.
Rule was a bit much for me. I am usually into bad guys in books and I usually love them. However, Rule was overkill for me. He crossed the line and went into punk, which is not my type of guy. He did seem hot and I did kind fell for him a little tiny bit, but not enough.
"Because it's always been you even when I didn't want it to be, even when it broke my heart over and over again. It's just always been you"
I didn't like the whole plot twist with Gabe. I thought it was trying to hard. I also guessed the big secret of Rule's twin. The story is emotional and I didn't find myself into the story enough for it to have an impact of me. I felt myself reading through some scenes of the story and rolling my eyes.
I have to admit that I am kind of tired of these plots. There is always a bad guy and a good girl. The girl is always extremely hot and has perky boobs and is perfect however she does not see herself as pretty and that's what attracts boys. "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction much? The girl is always adored within the guys friends and they always bother him with her. The guy is always jealous and moody when they are fighting. There is always a scene between two guys, a type of fight is involved. The guy and the girl ALWAYS end up together. Like you just know how it will end, it is kind of getting too cliche. Not that I don't like these stories, but since they are so typical there has to be something extremely great for me to fall in love with the story. This one didn't have it for me.
