The Originals by Cat Patrick

"Three girls. One Life"

Cat Patrick tells the story of three clones Lizzie, Ella and Betsey whose controlling "Mom" has them living one life instead of three separate ones. The reason for this is because her mother was a scientist who illegally created clones and is scared of the FBI coming after them.

“I guess it’s hard to know where you’re going when you have no idea where you came from"

The story is fast-paced and thrilling in most parts, however I didn't love it. It is a good read and it is very interesting. I didn't relate to the mother of the girls at all. I thought she was a psychopath and a very bad scientist and person for allowing not only to make clones but for later making them live one life. She documents ALL of the girls lives because of science, which I do not agree with in any level.

The romance of the story is between Lizzie and Sean Kelly. I did love their love story. It was complicated but simple. I found them really sweet and it is one of the best parts of the whole novel. Sean reminded me of "The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer's" Noah. Noah is better in many more levels, but they shared something that made me want to fall in love with Noah all over again.

I do recommend this story, it is a fast-paced read that will make your day enjoyable for a few hours.
